Great Create 2025 - Color Our School

The Great Create 2025 was a huge success!  We’re so grateful to so many for the support and partnership in making Color Our School such a meaningful experience. It was so much fun to watch the kids dive into the creative process yesterday and leave their mark on the school in such a lasting way.  This was an amazing, inspirational art event, facilitated in partnership with Beehive Art, and meant to inspire our children and create a lasting piece for them to connect with in the school.

Thank you to Beehive Art for their creativity, hard work and vision on this project.  Thank you to Sarah Collmer and the Lincoln School Administration for their support and flexibility in bringing this to life in the school.  Thank you to the Step Team for performing and thank you to the Lincoln School Foundation board, the Art Educators, Middle School Volunteers, Community, parent and family volunteers.  And thank you to our very generous sponsors and raffle donors!  (Platinum Sponsors: Beehive ART, The Ogden Codman Trust, The Commons in Lincoln.  Gold Sponsors: Corey Flint Photograph. Silver Sponsors: The Little General. Bronze Sponsors: Debra's Natural Gourmet, Lincoln Land Conservation Trust and Rural Land Foundation, Kirkland & Shaw).

And a huge thank you to all the children who brought their creative minds to each color panel!  Check out the final installation that is displayed in the main hallway across from the library in the K-4 Smith building and the kids trying to find their art in the panels!

Mission accomplished.

See you next year!
